In that regard, at HD1 – we find that “Live-To-Tape” production fits clients who are producers of seminars, or trade-shows, concerts, or speaking engagements – where the end goal is to not only go “Live” with their content as it is happening (either by directly streaming the content with HD1, or using 3rd party services such as U-Stream or LiveStream), but to also have that content ready to package for sale at the conclusion of the event, either in form of Digital Downloads, DVD's or USB Drives.

Our partners over at 22nd Avenue Entertainment Logistics, have come up with an awesome fix for using LANC on the Sony X70 and other multiport Sony Camcorders.

The biggest issue with the new line of professional camcorders from Sony, puts us in the position of sacrificing thumb/rocker zoom controllers. These are excellent in their design for single-handed operation, which just makes production for live go... super smooth.

Up until now, we've been using Sony's CBM APP as a controller... mounting cell-phones or tablets to the tripod. Obviously less than idea!

Stable. Sharp. Nicely colored shots, with awesome audio - is pretty much the standard expectation nowadays. Anything less than that, is sub-par.
