Complete SDI Monitor Overhaul

To capture High Definition at its source, you need to be able to see in High Definition.

At HD1 Productions, we're proud to announce some exciting additions to our live-video unit and on-site post-production vehicles.

For our Technical Director position (TD), we've installed the Marshall V-R1042-IMD-TE4U monitor - a 10" Dual Rack-Mount Monitor, which provides for fabulously sharp images both in Preview and Program.

For direct camera monitoring, we've installed three (3) of the Marshall V-R842DP-AFHD monitors - a 8.4" Dual-Screen Rack-Mount Monitor for the exceptional monitoring (by both our Technical Director [TD] and Director) of the principle 6 Camera Input/Positions.

The remaining Cameras/Inputs are monitored through three (3) Marshall V-MD434-3GSDI [a four (4) screen rack-mount] with two inputs remaining for convoy-module input.

For our Director, and Graphics Unit - we've added four (4) of the Marshal V-MD173 monitors - a 17" Rack-Mount Monitor - which carries both Preview/Program feeds... as well as a second vision mix (if needed).

It's exciting to see how technology continues to evolve, and allow for television/web production (either from a Satellite Broadcast, to a Live Multi-Camera Stream) to take up less and less space... passing on that savings to our clients... as well as breaking the limitations of where Live Television can go!
